The 19-year-old former child star hopes his teen drama Detention, which he starred in and helped produce, will tackle some of the issues he managed to escape growing up.
“I didn’t go to high school, so I don’t have a high school experience,” says Josh.
“I was home schooled during high school but I think this movie just speaks to how kids can be really mean.
“Now, more than ever, bullying has come under the radar of actually being a problem in schools and people are trying to stand up against bullying.
“I think this movie just speaks to that world and how hard it can be sometimes in school.”
